About us

Our Vision

Our goal is to give every child the tools they need to discover and realize their individual potential.

Empower

When children are “taught” something, we deny them the joy of discovering it on their own. Today, teachers in traditional schools instruct students by herding them into classrooms, where they happily acquire “knowledge” over brief periods of time. Unfortunately, the convenience of adults takes precedence over the quality of students’ learning experiences.

The educators, environment, and time at Ved Griha are designed to meet the needs of students, not the other way around. We are of the opinion that rather than acting as tyrannical guardians of information, educators should help students discover and learn on their own. When remediation or enrichment is required, our teachers closely monitor each student as they follow their individual learning paths and provide one-on-one time. Peer learning is highly effective, and our learning environment is made for interaction between children of different ages. Timetables with 40-minute slots do not limit us; Instead, children can work for long periods of time.

Every Child Is Unique

In today‘s world, many children are disinterested and bored at school; However, these same kids also develop a great deal of expertise and personal connections with their areas of interest outside of school. Traditional schools’ one-size-fits-all approach does our children’s individuality a huge disservice.

At Ved Griha, we perceive that all children advance diversely and take unique routes to excellence. We think that students learn best when they work with material that is meaningful to them and tailored to their own interests and abilities. Our teachers put a lot of effort into getting to know their students well and create individual learning plans for each one, working with parents.

Discover

Explore the world beyond textbooks for children to discover their passions. Today’s education, on the other hand, is completely disconnected from students’ lives and interactions outside of school. Therefore, it is not surprising that children may experience a sense of alienness when attending traditional schools because education there is artificial and disconnected from reality.

We at Ved Griha believe that students should regularly interact with the outside world and engage in real-world learning. Our curriculum includes a lot of field trips: In order to provide students with an immersive experience, we frequently visit local businesses, parks, museums, and galleries. We also hire domain experts to teach kids about sports, art, and music; In addition, we invite professionals and parents! to come to the school and talk to the students about their job. Our teachers use a variety of resources to create learning plans for their students as soon as they begin to show interest in new subjects.

Achieve

The smartest students in the class don’t always succeed. In fact, decades of research have demonstrated that extraordinary talent alone does not imply greatness. Instead, qualities like perseverance, self-awareness, and self-confidence are more important for life and career success than talent. Academics are the primary focus of traditional education, but these essential life skills are rarely taught.

The teaching of life skills is an important part of everyday school life at Ved Griha. They work one-on-one with each child to help them become self-aware, enjoy challenges, put effort ahead of results, and accept that failing is a necessary part of learning. In consultation with both parents and children, we use a goal-setting process to make sure that children set ambitious long-term goals and work hard to achieve them.
